Adrienne Ames made her debut in 1907 as Ruth Adrienne McClure. She passed away on May 31st in 1947. Adrienne McClure began her acting career as Adrienne Ames, a truex. The actress was married three times. While still a teenager Ames was married Derward Dumont Truax. He was the son of a businessman who was oil. They had a daughter and divorced in 1924. Her second marriage ended in divorce in October of 1933. She was married to the actor Bruce Cabot on October 31st on the 31st of October, 1933. The couple divorced on July 31, 1935. Ames passed away from cancer in New York City on May 31, 1937 at the age of 39. She was buried in Oakwood Cemetery near her home in Fort Worth.
